About the University
Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam or SSR Medical College (SSRMC) is a private medical college operational in Belle Rive in Mauritius. Established in 1999, SSR Medical College is the first medical institute of Mauritius. In 2002, the SSR Medical College started the medicine program.
SSR Medical College campus spreads over 30 acres of government provided land area. The SSR medical college has access to multiple specialty hospital including Victoria, SSR, Jawahar Lal Nehru Hospital and many more. Currently, the medical college has access to above 2k bed facility for clinical training.
